being granted access. NAC provides network access to endpoint
devices that fully comply with established security policy,
while helping to ensure that noncompliant devices are denied
access, placed in quarantine for remediation, or given
restricted access to resources.
NAC is part of the Self-Defending Network, a Cisco initiative
designed to integrate security intelligence and services into
the fabric of the network.
